March 2, 2008 Meeting Minutes

Held at Five Mile Round Table Pizza

1.    Vote on by laws amendment for the web developer.

This motion was seconded by Andrea and voted in unanimously. There is now another chair on the board for the web developer. Which is currently held by Katie M.

2.    Calendar- firm up dates

***May trail ride will be May 24th in Deer Park at 10 am on Missile Site road directions to come later.

***June Fun Day June 29th at Charlene Ulrich’s house may be open to the public.

***August trail ride is tentatively set for Farragut State Park by Athol (Bay view) date to come later.

***Tentative date for Parade-September 20th for the Rockford Parade

 

3.    No insurance is needed for the trail rides only a signed waiver these we are going to make available on line for all events so that they can be downloaded and signed before hand. They will also be available at the trail head for the rides. Also was discussed that they need to become a member.

 

4.    June Fun day there will be insurance held for the fun day waivers will also be required for EVERYONE in attendance even spectators. These again will be available online so if you have spectator friends coming or even people participating please make sure they have signed a waiver (or their parents have) and turn it in.

 

 

5.    Papa Murphy cards- we are going to buy approx 20 cards and pass them out at the next meeting for people to sell. Funds to go into the general fund,

6.    We are going to host some membership drives when the weather clears up. Linda to host a kid’s day at her house date to be decided at a later date.

 

7.    There will be a mom’s night on March 15, 2008 at the Twigs at Wandermere. Please contact a board member for more information.

 

8.    Last but not least chair positions were voted on the board now consist of starting April 1, 2008
