Welcome
to Moms, Daughters, & Horses Group's Purpose:
We are an equestrian club and non-profit organization
(501 C-3). We encourage mother-daughter-horse relationships, shared friendships, and growth as
horsewomen. We meet our
goals by:
1. Planning opportunities for
moms and daughters and horse-loving women to come together to ride, learn, and
develop deep and abiding friendships.
2. Teaching our daughters
and young members how to take horses and their love/gift of
horsemanship into their adult lives, and showing them how to tap into the
strength horse husbandry develops in them.
3. Providing
scholarships to help young horse women pay for college.
4. Helping the equestrian
community by finding quality homes for unwanted or unused
horses.
5. Educating ourselves,
our members, and our communities.
6. Raising money for an
emergency equestrian fund to help families in crisis get hay
and other needs to their horses.
7. Supporting our local
parks and forests to keep them open to equestrians now and
in the future.
Who Can Join?
Any woman can join, with or without a daughter, as long
as their goal is the same: mentoring young women to become
strong, independent, articulate, horsewomen, developing
friendships with other horse-lovers, and helping our
equestrian community.
What the Club Will Do.
The Club will raise money for college scholarships, find
homes for unwanted or unused horses, promote equine
education and excellence and raise money for an emergency
aid fund.
